Abstract

These pages describe the birth and first stages of a proposal for school religious education generated by the Don Bosco University for the schools of Central America. The proposal seeks to fill the void caused by the absence of educational materials that address the social and cultural challenges of the region. It is a project characterized by its interdisciplinary and ecumenical nature and by promoting critical and cooperative participatory learning. It is a program that is still under construction and that is being enriched with the contribution of those who have already adopted it.
