Abstract

In this article, the aim of the author is to compare the concepts ‘liberation’ and ‘liberty’, based on the assumption that liberty implies liberation. He also discusses the need for liberation of structural and political ties, reformulating the role of the State, and restating that changes are at stake, which not only have a liberation inspiration, but they also respond to the longing for liberation of the Salvadoran people.
