Abstract

A few years ago a slogan was spread that said: Education is the solution. Hardly anyone would dare deny that education is a solution. However, such a statement raises many questions: What are the problems for which education is intended to be a solution? For whom is education the solution? What kind of solution is education and what kind of education is the solution? How does education solve?
