Globally, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the normal performance of education. Faced with the challenges of social distancing, the emerging need to use technologies and other resources that guaranteed the teaching-learning process was established, where teachers had to strengthen their pedagogical leadership capabilities to achieve training objectives. Understanding that pedagogical leadership is the ability to enhance learning using professional knowledge as a basis to adapt to situations, the objective of the research was to identify the pedagogical leadership of teachers at the Azuero Comprehensive Bilingual Training Center in Panama through the application of the prioritized curriculum, taking as a reference the fulfillment of the educational process through the use of virtual platforms in the context of the quarantine caused by COVID-19, in the 2020 school year. A descriptive research was carried out with a mixed approach to a population of 70 teachers, who were working at that time at the Azuero Comprehensive Bilingual Training Center, to whom a questionnaire was administered, obtaining a response rate of 71%. The results revealed that teachers incorporated specific planning processes (90%), new methodological strategies (90%), an approach to conceptual foundations (80%) and clear and simple communication mechanisms (96%) that evidenced pedagogical leadership. of teachers as a success factor to meet the objectives of the prioritized curriculum in an emergency situation, to face the dynamics of classes during the pandemic.
