Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The academic paper has not been published or is being reviewed by another media outlet.
- The academic paper has the title written on the top line of the page (in Spanish and English).
- The academic paper has the name or names of the intellectual authors of the work, first the two surnames and then the names separated by a comma.
- The academic paper includes the date of submission of the article.
- The academic paper has an abstract (in English), a summary (in Spanish), a summary (when the document is written in Portuguese). These do not exceed 250 words.
- The academic paper includes keywords in English, Spanish and Portuguese (when written in this language). There are no more than four keywords in each case.
- At the bottom of the first page, the academic paper has a short description of the professional credentials of each author: full name, highest academic degree obtained, specialty, university where obtained, country; current position, academic affiliation (university), country, (institutional) email and ORCID.
- The academic writing is an empirical article (derived from research), an academic article (result of a bibliographic review), a methodological review, the report of a successful educational experience, or a conference/presentation.
- The academic writing is written in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
- The format of the academic writing complies with the following editing characteristics: 1. 5 spacing; Arial font size 12; normal margins.
- The academic writing does not exceed 20 continuous pages (including references and appendices).
- The academic writing uses the APA style of citations and references, seventh edition.
- References include URLs or DOIs whenever possible.
- The academic writing is sent in Microsoft Word format (editable, not protected).
