From God's self-communication to the martyrial identity of the Christian. Martyrdom in El Salvador.

God speaks and has a language to communicate. In communicating himself, he gives himself in a dynamic of absolute self-communication. Through self-communication, God makes man also become a gift to others. How can we understand this ontology of gift and this martyrial existence? Is it possible to speak of a martyrial identity or a martyrial existence as a fundamental characteristic of the human being? How to understand the Salvadorian martyrdom experience? These are the questions that problematize this brief article. The answers that we try to offer leave open other perspectives for further deepening.
