Abstract

This book is based on 15 years of research (1998-2013) by the author, essentially devoted to the dynamic history of income and wealth, in terms of the concentration of wealth and power in a few hands. In addition, it elucidates 250 years of evolution of income and wealth under capitalism, particularly in the United States and Europe, and raises categorically the need for a wealth tax.
