Abstract

This article poses, from the experiences of its author, a reflection on the practice of new ideas, presenting the document of Medellin on education, proposing a popular education and liberating education which would lead to an educational practice intended to free people structural ties that would prevent them their full development. From the proposals of Paulo Freire and placing it in the  context of the years of the document, the author proposes a critical and liberating, essential education for the formation of young people who learn from contributions of generations previous and to work purposefully for the construction of a new society.
